I was having a discussion at work and I was talking to a Nurse Practitioner who asked Why in the hell are youwanting to be a CRNA? They're on call at least 2 days a week and get called in all times of the night and always work Nights, Holidays and Weekends? I told her I have not heard of this I have a mentor and she says she has great work hours and it all depends where you work. I ahve heard this from many people who say that they would become CRNA's if this were not the case. Why do so many people think this is the case, they say getting in is too hard and you work way to much? I think Staff RN's are the ones who work way too much. Comments?
