So I work in a SICU/CVICU and one month ago I got my Cardiac Surgery Certification from the AACN. The CCRN is a pre requisite for this. It is not a very common certification to hold. I did it for personal reasons (to beat everyone in my unit at it) and hopefully to beef up my resume with schools I have applied for. I have one interview coming up next month.

My question is do you guys see this as a significant achievement towards acceptance in a school? Will the interview committee see it this way? Or is it so obscure they will ask me what the heck is this?
