I was going over my educational career path with a friend and one of my Nurse Friends told me to try out this, get a Liberal Arts Degree and then apply to the 12 month BSN and then work a year in my critical care Unit as a RN then apply to the CRNA program. I was told already by my manager I would have a job and she would also help out with the CCRN test which is required for the program I want. This way does seem faster, but faster is not always better. Could I get some opinions on this route? I would like to do it this way so I can get into Nursing ASAP and not waste time on a ASN then BSN. Has anyone done this or have any other suggestions on how I can getting into the Nursing filed with out wasting time and money. Thank You!
