In clinicals last week and did 2 prone cases back to back with the same preceptor. posterior iliac crest lesion and I&D of sacral decubitus.

My question is this: Where do you like for your Et agent for flipping back on the stretcher at the end of the case?

I've asked a few providers this and I've gotten answers that no less than 1 MAC, but in with the preceptor I was with we were flipping well below MAC.

I don't have a lot of experience with this, but it seems that the cases we did the patients were WAY too awake to be doing all that gymnastics...
