Recently......24yo, 64", 79kg, G1P0 39 1/7 weeks in active labor, CLE place in usual fashion and 0.2% rop/fent (2mcg/mL) gtt at 10 mL/hr - with good pain control @ T7 bilat and + motor intact....converted to surgical block d/t poor fetal presentation about 8 hours into labor. Dosed with 2% Lido + Epi x2 5mL boluses to T6 sensory....10 minutes into C-Section - patient c/o R UE numbness and progressed to complete motor and sensory block - resembling an axillary block.

Full functioning return to UE @ same point as LE - no residual issues....

This all from my partner who said "man - how funky is this?" In telling me this he also said that one of his old partners had one patient CLE caused a L sided Horners....

There are several thoughts on the mechanisms....anyone else have similiar cases?
