Hi. I should've made the topic, military spouse's. My husband is seriously thinking about going active duty. He is an RN wanting to pursue CRNA. We are in our mid 30's, have a 5 month old daughter and we live near all of our family. He has been in the air nat'l guard for 12 years. He has never been deployed, the longest we've ever been away is when they send him for training. I fully support him in continuing his education. I know it'll be a change if he goes active duty. I am an occupational therapist and the job market is usually good everywhere, so that is a good thing. I was just wondering how often your CRNA husband gets deployed, for how long, and are ya'll able to communicate when he/she is deployed. We are seriously considering air force, but during my research, I found out the army CRNA program will accept civilians. I would appreciate any and all input. Thanks
