Is it a good idea to shadow a CRNA if I'm not even a nurse yet? I begin nursing school soon, and I'm highly interested in eventually becoming a CRNA. I know all the schooling as well as the ICU experience have to be completed first (I've done TONS of reading and research about it, so I know it will be several years before CRNA school is even an option). But I'm so intrigued by the profession that I would love to shadow a CRNA for a couple of days to really get a view of what day-to-day life is like. Am I jumping the gun in wanting to learn about the profession this early on?

*also a little note, I've been frequenting this forum for a while, but this is my first post...go easy on me!
