Hi there,

I am trying to get enough ICU experience to apply to CRNA programs, and I have a question for anyone with some knowledge about the process:

With all other things being equal (your nursing school and CRNA pre-req grades, GREs, length of ICU experience, positivity of ICU recommendation letters, etc.), how helpful is it to have gotten your ICU experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital as opposed to a smaller Level II or III in a decent sized city? Does it open a lot more schools up as possibilities, and does the opposite make it harder to get into some?

Thanks in advance!
