Contracts

Since the realization of being accepted has finally set in I have a few questions which I could not find the answer for while searching numerous forums. I know it is probably best to NOT sign a contract with a group before school but if you know the geographical area you want work in what is the best way to go about approacing a hospital in regards to a contract? In my part of the state the small outlying hospitals are all advertising $30k+ more a year with similar benifits while the metropolitan hospitals are advertising much less with strict MDA direction and little to no line placement. Is it appropriate to contact the recruiting agencies directly and ask them about the possibility of contracts or should I just start calling hospitals directly? Thanks so much.

I called the hospitals directly and talked to the CRNA recruiters. They were very straight forward.

call the hospital directly, and remember you may not want to work in a small hospital, or a large hospital. you dont know until you are exposed to both in school, that is why you dont sign a contract until youre almost done with school.
