Hi everyone I've been looking into nursing programs for those with non-nursing degrees and it seems that pretty much every program does not offer the Anesthesia specialty for these programs.

However Columbia's site seems to indicate that a student can choose Anesthesia while being part of their BS/MS ETP program. It reads:

Students may select one of the following specialty majors for study: Acute Care, Anesthesia, Midwifery, Neonatal, Oncology, Women's Health, Psychiatric Mental Health, and Adult, Family, Geriatric, or Pediatric Primary Care.

But obviously someone in my situation wouldn't have any ICU experience which is a requirement if an RN wanted to apply to Columbia's Nurse Anesthesia Program. Long story short I'm wondering if anyone has any information about Columbia's BS/MS program?
