Hey all,

This is my first post and I looked around but could not find an answer to my question.

A little background. I have been an RN for 4 years and I am currently in a RN-BSN program. I have worked PT in ICU stepdown. My FT job is a Fire Captain/paramedic (12 years). My current GPA is 3.51 overall. 3.36 in Nursing classes, 4.0 in sciences and math including an Intro class in Organic/Biochem.

My worry is that I made and F in A/P I and Micro about 11 years ago when I was being moved around the department. 18 times to be exact. I was past the withdraw date for both of these when I was moved, thus the F's. I put school on hold for a while, but when I returned, I repeated those classes and made A's in both and all of the science classes since.

I am getting ready to leave the fire department and go into the SICU while I finish my BSN and then attempt to move on to CRNA school in 3-4 years from now.

Does anyone think this glitch will hold me back from ever getting into a program?

Thanks for any and all advice.

John
