The Ventriloquist....

Okay, am I the only one who thought that ventriloquist at the AANA conference was creepy? And what the heck was up with the ethnic doll singing the theme from The Jeffersons? Weird, and not all that funny. JMHO.

I loved The Laryngospasms, though - and even cooler was the fact that I saw them several times during the meeting. How cool is that?

I was not impressed either. I was also a little miffed at the bedpan and catheter jokes. Homey, do some research and realize who your performing in front of before you come on stage.

This is how bad he was overall: Jeff Beutler himself came to the minority forum Tuesday night and apologized for the ventriloquist.

If he had only come out once, it'd been ok. Very creepy though, I must agree!

hmmm....a song parody....but nope, a serious
ballad.....i was thinking WTF is going on here!

final thought....a year of prep time to find a performer
and THAT is what you throw out there.....just saying.....

A ventriloquist won "America's Got Talent" last year. This wasn't, by chance him?

The ventriloquist who won the talent thing was Terry Fator. The one at the annual meeting was Brian Teirney, or something like that.

I will give the meeting ventriloquist credit for his talent as a ventrioquist - he even managed to sing a "duet" with his puppet. I just think it's creepy, and his material was inappropriate for a professional conference and NOT all that funny. He had to keep prodding the audience to laugh.

He was awful....I couldn't tell if he was trying to sing well or lip sing...I also couldn't see if his pupils were constricted...although, I bet they were....he was creepy.....something just was off with him...and the outfit had to go......
