Aloha again guys, I am so inspired by this forum, I hav been doing some research into education of CRNA since I noticed a thread from someone asking about AA's and thier education. I decided to check out the ASA site where they highlight the education of CRNA's and AA's. I am curious I understand the the minimum amount of anesthetics administed as part of a CRNA program is ~400 as compared to AA's which they noted to be at least 600. Additionaly, they mention the hours put into training is higher for AA's as another diference. I realize that CRNA's have required experience prior to admission and that AA's are coming into a dicipline with virtually no experience. I'm not trying to delimit anyone just wanted to clearly understand the information on the ASA's website. Mahalo!
