This kid I know who is an ICU/OR nurse just got back from an interview for her anesthesia training. I won't say the name, but it is a new program. She told me they backed her up against the wall with something that sounded like an oral board exam. Very aggressive questioning in a quasi hostile environment. I told her that if she was accepted to decline a program that does that on the interview. That is horsesh**. She's probably smarter than half of the bozo's that grilled her.If the program can't discern the worth and ability of someone by GRE's, transcripts, LOR's experience etc., they have no business being open, IMO. Is this the way interviews go as a rule now?
