Hello everyone! I just found this forum after many months of research into the field of anesthesia. I have decided that I want to go back to school to be a nurse anesthetist. I have 4 years of experience on a surgical SDU at Cornell in NYC (higher acuity than most, 3:1 ratio), and have just started in September working in the MICU. I plan to take the GRE because my previous GRE was longer than 5 years ago ('tis unfortunate too because I scored in the 99% for the analytical section) My Biology undergrad was not that remarkable, but my Nursing school GRE is 3.4. Does anyone have any advice on something that may make my quest successful? (I wish there were more schools in the NYC metro area)
