So I am applying for CRNA school in within the next few months and I really want to know if my age will effect my chances of being accepted this year.

I have been an ICU RN for 2 years, 1 year in a general ICU and 1 year in a Level 1 Neuro/Trauma ICU. I have my CCRN, got a 302 on my GRE, and had a 3.8 undergrad GPA. The only caveat is I'm only 23. I'm afraid that schools won't take me seriously because I'm young. I know the average age is 27 and older.

I am extremely ambitious and have worked hard to get where I am. I'm thinking of applying to PITT, National University, and Excela.

Any thoughts or advice?? I'd really appreciate it!
