Which Block(s)?
A patient comes in for a knee replacement.
The surgeon wants the patient to be able to ambulate as soon as possible. The patient states they were not happy with the back of the knee pain after their other knee replacement.
You note in the chart the previous knee was done under sedation and a femoral block.
What can you do to meet both these requests? Also, explain how they are done.

Success in life is the result of good judgment. Good judgment is usually the result of experience. Experience is usually the result of bad judgment.
