Just trying to get a consensus as to what others are doing.

Two bullet points/questions...

First...
For all of our peds cases, it has been 'standard' practice to remove the EKG stickers after the procedure, and before transport to PACU, to help avoid the skin irritation/pulling them off when kids are awake/etc. These are for cases with no known cardiac issues, or not going directly (back) to ICU (at our main campus), etc. This practice occurs at both our main campus and our outpatient center. You?

Second...
Does everyone/anyone transport their kids with Succinylcholine/atropine in their pockets? With a syringe on it (ready to go)? Leave it in the OR? Never have it at the ready, but know where it is in the pyxis?

Thoughts appreciated.
