As a newbie, I'm interested to hear what level of end-tidal agent experienced providers are comfortable with running. Some of my classmates feel that if MAC-aware is somewhere around .3-.5 MAC, then running a case at, say, .6 MAC is quite feasible. Personally, I think running a case at a higher level of agent is the safer course. A brief survey of my instructors indicated that most run at 1 MAC at a minimum (provided the patient tolerates). What do you think?
