Dear Everyone,
I am a previous nurse anesthesia student who had been attending a program in West Virginia. Unfortunately,I had been trying to take care of my mother who had become ill at the time and later diagnosed with cancer. As a result of going back and forth between the program and home (the calls to come home were becoming frequent), my grades slipped and I was dismissed from the program. My mom died one month after I got home. I have heard that if you have been in a program and dismissed other programs will not even bother to look at you. I truly love anesthesia and have wanted to get back into a program. Can anyone give me advise about how I can rectify my image in front of potential interviewers and what would help them change their mind about my admission to their program? Thank you, V.
