As more programs transition to a DNP model, I'm curious whether being a graduate of one of these programs could make gaining employment in an ACT setting more difficult - especially with anesthesiologist-run groups (I know many would rather not work in such practices to begin with, but they are large in number, especially in desirable areas). Anyone have any insight on how much degree matters for employment?

Also, the question that goes along with this: Can a DNP degree be beneficial for gaining employment?

I know that what degree you have is probably low on the list of factors groups assess for... just something I'm curious about.
