I am currently a RT student getting my B.S. Although i love some aspects of the work, I dislike some of it too i.e. not enough autonomy, being an aerosol jockey etc. Okay so heres the situation. I can get my MSN in the same time as a BSN through the local med school. Is there any incentive of getting the MSN over the BSN since I would end up with a masters anyway? And would CRNA schools give me any extra thought for a slot since I was an RT first? Ill have about 3-4 years of being an RT before I would finish nursing school, where then id have to get cc experience as an RN.
Thanks!
