Hey guys,
I have a friend that has all of the experience necessary to gain admission to CRNA school. The real problem is that his GRE sucks. No matter what he does, he just deosn't get it. 4 years in various High acuity ICU's, 3.91 in BSN, and He cannot feasibly apply somewhere that doesn't require the GRE. Since he was rejected last year, he has obtained CCRN, retaken the GRE with very minimal improvement, and has been inducted into the international honor nursing society. The program director said that he need not take any grad level courses, because ahe could tell that he was capable of doing the work. Is there any advice for him to firther strengthen the application? He has 130+ hours of shadow time in the OR with a CRNA. Thanks.
