More Pysicians Arrested All Over The Place For Various Bad Behavior


How many physicians can be arrested in unrelated cases in one week? It seems the answer might only be limited by the number of available law enforcement agents.Queens, NY, urologist Harry Josifidis, 56, was taken down yesterday at his Astoria office on the felony charge of unauthorized practice of medicine. Josifidis lost his license in May and was fined $20,000 after being charged in 2010 with 15 counts of professional misconduct, which included fraud and failing to maintain proper patient records. Unimpressed, Josifidis continued to practice.
A Delaware *pediatrician, Melvin Morse, *named one of Seattle’s top pediatricians from 1995-2007, was arrested earlier this week after his daughter told authorities she was punished by “waterboarding.” The 11-year-old girl said that her father would hold her face under a running faucet, causing the water to shoot up her nose, the Delaware State Police said.
