I don't see why you can't just push straight KCl. Just push it until you get the desired result. Probably cheaper than anything else. Heck, you can probably mix it yourself in a big bucket. No risk of infection later on. . . there is no later on!

On a still sarcastic note, someone mentioned other ways to do the job without involving the medical profession, and I think that's an excellent idea. I would say decapitation would be best. You can always get people who live through a GSW to the head, so just take the head off. It's probably cheaper anyways. It can be sewn back on for veiwing purposes (if that's allowed by convict families).

And on a non-sarcastic note, I have mixed feelings about the death penalty. What about that 1 person who is actually innocent. . . makes my skin crawl. So kids, don't do drugs, and don't get yourself into situations that could put you on death row. If people stopped doing stupid things to each other then we wouldn't have to worry about the moral/ethical issues it all. Simple as that. Don't get on death row in the first place!!!
