Okay guys, my wife and I are having trouble deciding on a boy's name. The girl we have decided on Madelyn Elise Lane. For the boy, I was thinking Atticus. I think it sounds different (but not weird different), it has ties to our hometown (Harper Lee was from our town), and it is synonymous (in legal circles) with integrity. My wife thinks the boy will be mocked. I agree that little kids might pick on him, but a cool guy named Atticus I imagine would get tons of ladies in high school/college.
