So here is my situation:

I work in a rural setting (pretty much solo) and we have a fairly new Ortho doc that does mostly ambulatory procedures at our facility. All of his knee scopes seem to be in way more pain than any from the other Orthopods that I have worked with and I have considered putting in a Femoral block to lighten up the pain and narcotic use post op. I was thinking of using Naropin 0.2% and I was concerned about getting good analgesia without affecting motor so as to not delay discharge. Was wondering if anybody could tell me if they are doing anything similar and what type of results are you seeing? How do you all feel about sending patient home with fresh PNB?
