hardest part for me was going from being an expert ICU nurse to being a complete novice again. It may seem trivial but there were times when I felt like a complete dummy and that takes a hit to your pride. Actually doing anesthesia is the best part for me. It's really amazing to think of the things we make possible with the patient having no idea of what happened to them.
