#1 is something that can be delegated the very act of seeing the patient in the Pre op area can meet this very grey requirement. Most do sign the anesthetic record which is attached to the H&P pre op.

You are automatically apart of your state org, all CRNAs are So that box is checked! I applaude you for wanting to get involved to protect your practice!!

You have also confirmed another concern that I've had with the checkboxes. While it's not fraudulent to CMS what they have been doing, it's falsifying our medical record which is a crime.

This whole things has been eye opening for me. I just sent in a request to join the state organization yesterday and I am already a member of AANA. I will be donating to the state and national PAC from now on. I also plan on attending one national meeting/assembly and at least one state meeting every year now. I don't want to be a CRNA who buries their head in the sand on these issues and just collects a paycheck every two weeks. I feel like it's awakened a sleeping giant.
