Sister Roy is alive and well, she is a Professor and Nurse Theorist at Boston College. So it is still theoretically possible for her to take her dentures out and comply with the order.

Regarding other recent comments, I don't recall anyone saying that OR nurses are lazy. On the contrary, they are always up running around doing stuff while I am sitting on my ass. I just have to take care of the patient. The circulator has to take care of the surgeon, the scrub tech, the sales rep, the chart, and everyone's phone and pager.

Some of my best friends are circulators, I love them and they love me. But most will gladly tell you that they chose OR nursing because they don't enjoy patient care. What they do is very specialized, and the majority of their skills aren't related to most other types of nursing, including critical care and anesthesia.
