I am looking into a bunch of schools right now. I have submitted a couple of applications, but I am trying to decide if it is important to go to a better school.

I have some buddies that say it doesn't really matter where you go, you will end up with the same degree. I'm pretty antsy to get into school. I'm 34 this month and don't feel like waiting another 9-12 months to get into a "better" school. How much do hospitals look at where you went to school? If I go to school in say FL, and apply to places in CO are they even going to know anything about the school. I don't think they will, but you never know.

I'm super motivated and will be in the top of the class. Everyone knows me as the overachiever who sets the bar high, so even if the school is not the best in the world, I think I could make it work. I tend to think life is what you make it and want to go to school sooner rather than wait.

Any suggestions or thoughts?
