For those of you that are either training or working in the hospital setting, I was curious to see how frequent the Vigileo is used to guide volume replacement in cases other than cardiac. At our facility our cardiac anesthesiologists use it for all cardiac/thoracic procedures (when not using PAC obviously). I read an article that described it's utility in high-risk abdominal surgeries. Is this common practice, though? Have any of you seen it used in other types of cases? Just wondering...
