Well - I'll put it out there too.
I've been a critical care RN for 9 years. My experience includes Level 1 trauma/ burn ICU experience and CVT ICU experience (total of 8yrs) at large teaching hospitals. I have been involved with precepting staff, writing protocols and clinical ladder. For the past year I've working in the Cath/ EP Lab environment administering sedation, managing acute MI's, balloon pumps, etc. The move to the cath department was a move to secure hours and finally have the opportunity to have off on weekends and holidays.
My undergrad BSN GPA was 2.8. I worked 3 jobs and went part time. Hindsight is 20/20.
Getting ready to sit my CCRN.
What's the hope of a 30 something with lots of experience and haunting GPA?
