Hi all, This might sound like a silly question. But it is one I have been curious about. Most of the times, whenever there is a patient that is a "tough stick" on the unit and none of the experienced RNs can get an IV, one of the CRNAs is called in to do it. Does this mean that all CRNAs were superior at getting IVs prior to CRNA school - or do they just better their technique while in school? The only reason I ask is that I am starting school in the fall, but I don't feel like I am the best in my unit on starting IVs right now. Sorry if this is a silly question. But I would appreciate any advice!
