New Counts For Nurse Charged With Sex Crimes

ATLANTA (AP) -- A grand jury has pressed new charges against a nurse anesthetist accused of recording sex acts that he performed on unconscious female patients.

Paul Patrick Serdula of Marietta was indicted this month on seven additional counts related to the molestation of four women in an operating and labor and delivery room. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the alleged assaults happened between November 2009 and June 2009.

The 48-year-old was indicted in February on 20 counts accusing him of molesting patients. His defense attorneys did not return messages seeking comment.

Serdula was being held without bond at the Cobb County Jail. He's scheduled for trial in April.
