Maybe I'm just paying attention more, but it's starting to seem like every.single.nurse in my ICU wants to go to CRNA school. And so did every.single.nurse in my previous ICU. The vast majority are very capable, highly qualified individuals. What prevents people from continuing down the path? I mean, it doesn't seem like there would be enough jobs for every ICU nurse to eventually become a CRNA. Just curious about the "weed out" process.
