  1. i-pod!!!!!!

My wonderful husband bought me an i-pod for our anniversary! A big one!!!! He surprised me with it last night as we were leaving to meet some friends for drinks. I wasn't going to get one until I graduated (although I really, REALLY wanted one) but now I have one! Woohoo!

I should totally not be this happy - we're going to be two years without my income, dammit. But, what the hell. Woohoo! I'm doing the i-pod happy dance! If Carrie didn't already have the i-pod happy dance ...

  2. About Military offers for SRNAs

First, this is NOT a bash on the military, its a reality check for those interested in the forces as a way to pay for school.

Well we had the army come not that long ago. They offer a sweet deal... until you talk to someone else already in the reserves as a CRNA. It's March now, only 26 months left! ha, just getting my feet wet at this point. I've had 2-3 exams a week nearly every week. The intensity is what I expected only you don't know the reality of it until your in the classes and taking those exams. Out of six classes, I have 5 A's and one very strong B at this point. I feel like I've learned so much since January, it's crazy. Definitely don't feel ready to put someone to sleep though. I'm going to be moving from the sleepy comfort of Jonesboro ...

  5. Spring is on the way!

It's March and was nice enough outside today for a hike and a cookout. I really needed to get out of the house, too. I was turning into a grump. The fresh air and sunshine was just the ticket.

Oh, well - back to the books. I have a paper to finish!
