Well that was a blast!
I had a great time with the people there they were very nice. I tubed the pt in the first case and they knew i had experience with intubation right away.... busted. Ah well, guess i cant set the bar low now!
Otherwise, good open abd case and interesting stuff! Was asked alot of questions and i was able to answer them all, which was nice!
Spent alot of tonight doing careplans and so now relaxing and plan on studying tommorrow after clinical
A couple months + into the program and things are going well. There are some things i find Sooooo hard to study b/c they are mundane but its just something you have to do.. ugh.
Other than that, things are pretty good. I start clinical April 2nd and it cant come fast enough. I NEED to get my hands on something before i go insane l
I just dont know how those of you in a frontloaded program can do it, id be ready to kill someone!
Okay, I do not get this whole weather concept at ALL. It is supposed to be spring in Florida (and when I say spring I mean I want to see flower's springing out of the ground and the sun shining on everything and for me to be able to swim in my pool which should be 80*.) But,nooo Mother Nature does not see it that way. She want's us to live in the cold for a few more days. IT'S FREEZING OUT THERE! SERIOUSLY! gah mother nature gets all of us frustrated sometimes.
I wish we could have
My wonderful husband bought me an i-pod for our anniversary! A big one!!!! He surprised me with it last night as we were leaving to meet some friends for drinks. I wasn't going to get one until I graduated (although I really, REALLY wanted one) but now I have one! Woohoo!
I should totally not be this happy - we're going to be two years without my income, dammit. But, what the hell. Woohoo! I'm doing the i-pod happy dance! If Carrie didn't already have the i-pod happy dance
First, this is NOT a bash on the military, its a reality check for those interested in the forces as a way to pay for school.
Well we had the army come not that long ago. They offer a sweet deal... until you talk to someone else already in the reserves as a CRNA. Remember, recruiters are like salesmen, some are good some are bad. Some will lay out the bennies vs nasties and others wont. You have to talk to a CRNA who has already gone the route to get the real truth.
