Well I spent the last few days at a surgery center and i REALLY liked it. MAC cases are HARD. Much harder than GA (in my opinion). I like the challenge of guessing wake up times for the next case. I also really like the small "family" feel at the surgery center that wouldn't really be possible in a huge OR. Overall Ive been having a great couple of weeks with fun people in a nice atmosphere and with interesting cases. Good times. Now, as soon as this semester ...

Okay, I am a total slacker. At least as far as my journal is concerned. In class, I am totally NOT a slacker, and this is why I have no time for my journal. I don't know how Mikey manages to run this board and go to school. I can barely check my e-mail! Oh, well - this, too shall pass. More later! Terri
I love this: instead of 6 hours twice a week, it is turning out to be about 1 hour twice a week. (This may increase later....I don't know.) The instructor is a 2-year CRNA. It's her first time teaching it. Very nice. Her handout is the outline with the information on it. Even the examples she uses are on the handout. The previous instructor who taught it for a million years, but is assoc. with another program which used to use the same college but recently split off to use another college, ...
