So glad to see this man get jail time. Hopefully it does provide at least a teensy bit of closure for you and your wife.
WooHoo!!! Holler at me when you're ready to get your drink on (I'm assuming it'll be anytime after next Tuesday morning!)
Kick butt on your last final! And CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Third week and now I'm seeing why you might not want to do an extra semester of Dr. A's A&P! Good grief. It seems to be a bit of "do-it-yourself A&P" learning in this class. He's just reading the slides and when somebody asks a question he says he'll have to get back to us. We just did the membrane potential lecture and the whole class had glazed over eyes by the time it was over.
Easy Squeezy. Just an orientation day with Dr. Anderson and a quick meeting with Dr. L. I did get "called to the principal's office" (hehe) because the forms I emailed him for my AANA membership would not print on his end, so I had to go into his office to retype them so he could print them out. Nothing quite like getting singled out on the first day of class How about you guys? Did they bombard you yet? Seems like our semester is starting slllooooowwwwwlllllyyy. Had the A&P orientation yesterday and Research orientation today. And of course, Pharm doesn't start until next week...with YOU!
Nope, I definitely DON'T have to work during school! I'm trying to arrange with the administrator of the ASC to keep me on the books as a PRN even if I don't work so that I can pick up shifts on semester breaks! Honestly, if she doesn't let me, I'll probably just enjoy the fact that I "can't" work - and my husband won't get his nose so bent out of shape over my not working for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. I think I'd be better off not working AT ALL for the next 3 years, I'm guessing the time off between semesters will be better spend recovering and getting refreshed for the next round of torture (er, I mean...classes). Yep, I've seen the latest schedule for my class and I know it's gonna be brutal. As far as I know, we are doing Pharm A, A&P 1, and I'm trying to balance the first two semesters a little, hoping to take the Research class in the fall instead of the spring. I'm already sick of the nursey nurse classes. Ugh. TG these will be over in four weeks. Nothing irritates me more than nursing theory. LOL
Congratulations Mike!!
Happy Birthday to you! FWIW, I loved turning 30 and 35...it's 40 I'm not so sure about. (I'm turning 39 in about 3 weeks and will be 42 when I graduate.....Oh, to be 35 again!!!)
Living in Houston, we'll never get a Snow Day....but I guess we might get Hurricane Days, so that's just as good!! Hope you enjoyed your day off!!!
Applied to UT Houston, Baylor, TWU, and TCU.
So... Ill be conforming to the expectations of society in order to make change! Ironic, isn't it?
