I can't believe I haven't posted in such a long time. I guess this thing has been keeping me hopping. Some days are good, and some are just exhausting. I will try to write more consistently.
I went to Sam's Club and Walmart on Black Friday to pick up a few things for the house. I saw price cuts on flat screen TVs that made me drool. I saw that sexy Ipod Touch, I saw a new laptop that I wouldn't mind having. What the heck? I'm catching a case of Affluenza, at the worst possible time. I can't afford a new TV. I think I am going to get flu shots for myself and the kids. We are just lumbering through the fall, not quite kicking these little colds. I have never gotten a flu shot in my life, always believing that I was invincible, but since CRNA is accelerating my aging process, and having a teenage daughter invites all sorts of health problems (including mental health, I'm certain), I may need all the help I can get. Otherwise, I'm trying to ramp up for Thanksgiving.
I voted, and I hope it made a difference. I voted for Barack Obama. I didn't vote for him because he's Black. Actually, I get tired of hearing that. He's not Black, he's bi-racial. The seasons are changing, the belts are tightening, the stormclouds are gathering, but all is well. The Mrs. came home for the weekend and that is always a good thing.
