Hi! I have enjoyed reading many great info/discussions on this board and have a question of my own.
I will be graduating from my anesthesia program this summer and am currently working on my resume/CV. Does anyone know which is preferable in looking for a job as an SRNA? Furthermore, does anyone have any examples or sample resume/CV?
I've just spent hours trying to google sites but most are either students applying to anesthesia school, or current nurse anesthetists. I wasn't sure which info I should include in regards to my clinical experience, as well as how detailed to get with experience as a critical care RN.
Thanks for any info!

Post an example(s) of what you're considering. Either here or in PM.
You're a new grad so it really doesn't matter much which format you use as your experience is dictated only by your schooling/training. I have yet to be asked anything of detail about my experience before anesthesia school. If you're a new grad all your employer is going to want to know on paper is when you graduate and when you'll be available to them. Honestly, either format is totally fine.

I recommend not to post your GPA and dont include your ICU experience. Do include a cover letter.
Do include any/all publication(s) and research experience.
If its brief - well - you have to start somewhere...

I’m gonna take the cynical side………..CRNA jobs, although becoming more difficult to come by, are still plentiful. IMO when an employer asks for a CV they are simply “checking a box”. They are supposed to check your CV, so they ask for it (no more, no less)
Don’t stress over the CV, it’s over rated (IMO). Also, if you pack it with fluff………… those who review it will easily see it as such. Stick to the facts and don’t stress.
As an SRNA I see no problem with adding your ICU experience, you really don’t have much else.
Anyway…………….just my thoughts……….

I was just looking at this thread and couldn't find the resume/cover letter examples. Are they posted some where else on this website?
