View Full Version : Another Interview Down

Well, I had another interview yesterday. I can honestly say that this one was so much better than my last one. Now whether or not the result will be better I don't know yet, but hopefully it will! This site and it's posters are such a great resource and has been a wonderful place for encouragement and information for me. So thanks to all of you out there who offer words of wisdom and advice! The program director said that letters would be mailed by the end of this week so hopefully I won't have to sit on pins and needles to long this go round!:)

Glad to hear the site has helped you and that this one went well! At least u dont have to wait long!

Of course the waiting is the worst part. The last school I interviewed at I had to wait 5 weeks. It was brutal! I have been telling lots of nurses who are interested in anesthesia school about this site in hopes that it will help them. Although I do not post very much, I always read everything and keep a check on the forums! I think it is awesome!

I agree. This site is a huge help...I am so nervous about my upcoming interview that I am visiting here every single day.
Question: What to ask them at the interview? I have so many thoughts and questions in my head I think it is going to blow up....:aargh4:
Thank you all for wonderful posters! Wish me luck..

I can definitely remember my head wanting to blow up! We weren't allowed to ask questions at my interview, but a good thing to ask may be what the school's pass rate is for boards. You could also ask about clinical sites.
Just remember, take a deep breath & try to keep your cool. Don't try to fake something you don't know.....they'll nail you for sure if you do that!
Let us know how it goes!

I will let you know...if I'll live...
I am not even stressing about clinical questions,I am worried about questions like "Why do you want to be NA?" I know why...it's just I wish I could put it all together pretty... :2in1:
Anyway,thank you all for support...

There is a lot to be said for rehearsing how you'll answer common interview questions. Even if you think you have a good idea of what you'll answer, just practice it out loud a time or two. You'll feel more confident and relaxed if you do, plus you'll have time to put it all together and make it sound "pretty" :).
Glad to hear that your interview experience went well, and I hope that you get some good news very soon.
