This may be a subjective question, but i need all the opinions i can get. Does anyone have opinions on whether MCG program or Mercer crna program is "better" than the other? Mercer program awards a degree of master in anesthesia and MCG a master in nursing. Mercer with professors who are CRNAs and Anesthesiologists. MCG, i believe, with mainly CRNAs. which would be the better education?

Mercer is under the school of medicine
MCG is under the school of nursing.
Mercer does all thier clinicals at the MED. So, I guess you only see one "way of doing anesthesia".
MCG has 26 clinical sites all over the state. You get to see a lot of different ways to do things.
all MCG's instructors are CRNA's.
Its all about what you want to get out of a program. Mercer is private...so consider tuition. Check with mercers first class of graduates. They can tell you about that program indepth.
If you have any other questions, send me a PM

Also, If you think teaching is in your future somewhere down the line, you will need a master's degree in nursing. For me, I like having the option.
