I'm getting ready to send in an application and I am trying to make sure I have the best personal statement I can have! I saw someone else ask for a critique of their personal statement and I think I am brave enough to get some feedback from people on this site too! I'm not sure I am willing to post it for everyone to see but is there anyone willing to read my personal statement and give me some feedback? thanks in advance!

I too am about to submit my personal essay and was wondering if some of you would mind providing a critique. It's OK, I have thick skin. Really dont want to post it due to the length (3 to 5 page requiremnt).
thanks

Would the CRNA essay critiquer's here be willing to look over another personal statement?
It may be a good idea to start a reader's list sticky of some sort where experienced CRNAs would be willing to check over personal statement/essay drafts and provide feedback. Not sure if people would be open to that commitment but an idea.

Please PM me your stuff if you'd like....
as far as the "sticky" goes...I almost always w/out exception willing to help the deserving in any small way I can .... I would not be where I am at today without the help of literally dozens of people, many of whom I found here at Na.org.... time to pay it forward...
two relevant things to me:
I prefer to be contacted on an individual basis, not shotgunned because my name is on a list. PLEASE put my name on the list, but anyone so rude as to send me unsolicited mail will be ignored... I will almost always say "yes", so just be polite and ask me personally...
Also, PLEASE send the guidelines from the program(s) you are applying to....
