Hello everyone. I spoke with our admin about my idea. I think it's a good one.

This forum is meant for you to place your house up for 'rent' to a student that is entering an anesthesia program.

I got the idea because in about a year we plan on moving. I would like to rent my house out.
But, I don't want to rent to some a-hole who will destroy it. A student however, is less likely to destroy my place because they will be studying for 2.5 years. (possibly). lol.

Example: Once we move, anyone who gets accepted to Barry University or FIU (South Florida) could move in and have the place for the time they are in school.

Seems like a great idea.

Benefits:

1) Studying student = less likely to party and destroy house.

2) Student will have house of CRNA - maybe they can utilize as a resource if they have a question about school/clinicals.

3) Place will be rented for over 2 years.

If you are looking for a place to live while you are in school, this may be the forum for you.

If you have a property that you would like to rent to a student, this may be the forum for you.

If you just want to sell your house, hell, put up a post! Maybe another CRNA would like to move to your area and needs a home.

I think this is a win/win situation.

Enjoy!

Great idea indeed. I'll be attending FIU this Fall and will be in the dorms for the first 2-3 semesters. However, I do plan to rent a place (cheap hopefully) for myself (1br/1bath kind of place) when I do move out of the dorms by Fall 2010. If anyone has one close or fairly close to Mt. Sinai and Mercy Hospital lemme know the details.

Awesome, worth a try for sure!

So, I am looking for a rental in the LA area, something small, clean, and with washer and dryer, :washing: and in a perfect world close enough so I could walk to a market of some sort.

I am super clean, have no pets, don't smoke, and will be completely in the books for 24 months-i.e no parties, leave the place the way I got it if not better- I clean to relieve stress.
If anyone has any references, or just knows a neighborhood they think is nice for studying and sleeping (quiet) let me know.
