View Full Version : Chances of acceptance after termination

I was recently terminated from my program while in the clinical phase. Not to go into detail of why, but I did not come close to hurting a patient. The PD encouraged me to apply at other schools and told me there should be some school out there that would give me a chance if they have difficulty in filling seats. Would anyone know of any schools that may be willing to give a very determined "wanna be a CRNA" an interview? Thanks in advance.

OKCOK,
I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. Not knowing what your circumstances are, and I'm not pressing you to divulge them, it's difficult to provide any help to you. It seems like you will likely just need to start applying to programs again, be honest about what happened when you apply. I would imagine, not to be pessimistic but rather realistic, that gaining entrance into a program after being terminated from another program may be an uphill battle, and you might have to fight harder than first time applicants. Good luck to you.

Lou

Hey OKCOK

I think lou hit it on the head.

Since you are very anonymous on this forum I would encourage you to divulge what happened. I think this could be an excellent learning experience for us all as to what can happen and why.

If your not comfortable i understand, but it could help others.
