I suggested this forum to my wife since I am starting school soon and I just wanted to see who is here. The posts seem to have a coat of dust on them as of late.
If you are a S.O. and you check here, just please LMK so I can encourage my wife to sign up!
Thank You all...

I wouldn't THINK of letting my wife even KNOW about this forum... and she is a CRNA.

Capt,
I peruse the forum more often than my wife. She is three months into a thirty-one month program @ the University of Tennessee- Knoxville. I periodically check any thread that pertains to S.O.'s to see how others handle the stress of school and the toll that it can take on a marriage. I feel lucky as hell that my wife is in the program and am prepared to make any concession needed to make her time in school go as smooth as possible. I understand that she will not be around alot over the next two-and-a-half years, but I have a job where I am out of the country for @ least six months out of the year and she has been more supportive of my career than I could ever ask for over the eleven years that we've been together. W/ all of the support she's given me, I owe her the same and so much more when I'm home, and I am determined to strive & be resolute in doing so.... In short, convince her to join the forum and take interest in your goal.... In the long run, she'll realize that it's worth it.

As you can tell from my user name, I'm the wife of a military CRNA. I check the forum frequently, mostly out of interest as far as stories of working in the civilian world. My husband is separating from the military this summer and is in the process of interviewing for civilian jobs. It's fairly nervewracking.
And there's my first post.

At my husband's persistent urging, I signed up and check the board and post posts as frequently as I am able to break away from the little people who run my house. Perhaps I would have more time to do so if he would hurry up and finish this dang PhD.
