Hey all,
I was reading on an MD forum the other day (one that has a specific thread for anesthesia MDs) and read some horrible post from anesthesia residents about CRNAs. Pretty much every one of them had the same horrible opinion of CRNAs (we think we are equal to them and because of this we basically suck). Is there a lot of animosity in the "real world" between CRNAs and MDs? So far every anesthesia resident I have worked with has been great.

(Yoga, I would love your opinion because you have posted on that specfic site)

Ah Jeez,

Why we ever visit SDN just puzzles me -- if you don't want to know, don't ask; that sort of thing. I never go there myself unless I'm feeling kind of dull and hypotensive and need a jolt of adrenaline. Or a laugh. Even then I take SDN for what it is: essentially a gang of clueless residents. With a couple pompous attendings thrown in.

IMHO don't waste your time.

Cool, I have never visited one of these sites before but a fellow classmate told me about these crappy things they say and I had to read it for myself.
Will definitely ignore in the future

SDN is a funny place.

I think you will find that the majority of the people there like to be activists and do not know anything about the real world.

All the people I know suggest that the majority of ACT practices have a collegiate and friendly relationship b/t CRNAs and MDAs.
