I'm getting ready to start clinicals and have been looking at the different programs available for Windows Mobile 6. Just wanted to get some opinions on which programs are the most useful without going crazy and spending a lot of money that I don't have. A lot of the senior students in my program are using Skyscape but I'm not sure which programs I should get.. the anesthesiology package that includes all kinds of stuff for ~$100, or if I should just get a couple individual programs, and which are the most useful, etc. There's so much stuff out there I'm going crazy trying to figure out all the differences. Help! :aargh4:

Although I haven't started clinical, I have played around with ACT for a few months and found it very comprehensive. I could be wrong, but you might need to combine ACT with some sort of pocket reference like Mass Gen or Yao and Artusio because while ACT has great calculators for doses and MAC, it has little help if you need to look up something at clinical. That's my 2 cents. It is an amazing tool and a fast reference to get a general idea of how much of something you would use or what to use, but I've heard you also will need a pocket reference or spare brain...
