I'm somehwere in the "5 phases of admission terror" as posted by MmacFN..... I'm admitted in a program that starts this summer, and am trying to get ORGANIZED, and plan! Anyone have advice as to what would be beneficial to have completed/or do before the program starts?

Anyone wish they had completed something they didn't get around to?

I plan on spending a lot of time with my family, etc. but wonder if there is something I could do that might make the transition more successful?

THANKS!:juggle:

Every possible detail that you can. i.e. daycare, housing, utilities, finances/fin aid, anything that will consume any amount of time. We had a series of delays in our move to H-town and dealing with all of that little stuff while in school was not pleasant.

my advice, if at all possible, take any core classes you can before starting. even if you only get 1 or 2 done, it will make a huge difference, it has for those who did this in the program I am attending.

if you cannot, and have everything in order. relax and enjoy your freetime. if you feel you must study up on something, review the autonomic nervous system.
